Smart Start board of directors invited all state representatives that
represent the three counties in Raleigh to a Meet Our Legislators breakfast
at their January board meeting. Representation from all three counties
was present to meet the three county members of the local Smart Start
board, as well as discuss the upcoming legislative session.
Discussion centered on early childhood programs and how the local
board and those they represent can be effective in getting their
message heard in Raleigh. |
